For people that like a smaller cruise, with more port visits and less people, Viking Ocean Cruises are the way to travel. This year they unveil the Viking Sky, which, like other in the fleet, features clean Scandinavian design and wide-open places to relax. A big plus? Every cabin comes with a balcony.

Even the rooms are larger, offering 270 feet in the smallest cabins, with luxurious bathrooms. Unlike most cruise lines, Viking builds itineraries that feature more time in ports, and promise a ” no nickel-and-diming ‘philosophy. As an example, wifi is free and there are no port fees.

Kicking off it’s seven-night inaugural voyage with several stops in Italy and Spain as well as a day visit to Tunis, Tunisia, Sky then will operate a wide range of sailings in Europe. At the end of the summer, it’ll cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean.

Check out the sailings here.
