This past week we were invited to a cocktail reception celebrating the non-profit Stage which aims to make breast cancer awareness a conversation for every month, and not just limited to October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Stage was founded by Virginia Carnesale, a breast cancer survivor and wellness enthusiast who is on a mission to create a community of support surrounding breast cancer. The aim of Stage is to provide a resource, support system, marketplace and wellness destination to see the modern woman through this uniquely personal journey. Stage offers everything from interviews with survivors, experts, to treatment, beauty and cancer treatment lifestyle tips, to a product assortment that’s survivor-approved — and stylish.

Hosted by the STRIIKE beauty studio, breast cancer survivors and their supporters teamed up for a feel-good / look gorgeous event in support of breast cancer awareness. Over fifty guests were treated to a variety of services, from hair to brows to makeup, plus mini facials and massages provide by the Milk & Honey spa.

In addition to leaning more about Stage and the helpful resources the non-profit provides, The STRIIKE beauty studio generously donated 10% of sales from the night’s event to non-profit Unite for Her, one of Stage’s charity partners.

All in all a great night to promote Stage and the group’s online resources and marketplace!
