A Trump employee has told the FBI about being ordered by former President Trump to move boxes out of a basement storage room to his personal residence at Mar-a-Lago…after Trump’s legal team received a subpoena for any classified documents.
Now the FBI has surveillance footage showing a staffer moving boxes out of the storage room.
This could be key because it shows Trump intended to obstruct the investigation, not to mention it shows mishandling of classified information. If they can prove he also destroyed government records, such as ripping up papers in the White House (as his aides have testified) he’ll also be on the hook for that.
