As COVID cases continue to surge around the country, yesterday the US recorded that 3,700 people died in 24 hours, a record 113,069 are hospitalized and 250,000 more people are infected. This marks the worst day in the pandemic.

In California, the state set a new record for daily new cases and deaths with 53,711 and 293, respectively.

Officials warn that though the vaccine is arriving at hospitals around the country, it will be months and months before most of the population is inoculated and to keep wearing a mask, keep social distance and to not invite Grandma to a big holiday dinner.
