Do you know what your makeup brushes are made of?

Many of the popular brands are commonly made from squirrel, mink, sable, horse (sometimes called “pony” or “camel”), or goat hair. Expensive mink and sable brushes are products of the cruel fur industry.

Now is the time to switch to luxury beauty brushes that are vegan, synthetic and hypoallergenic.

We recently tested the brand LUXIE who’s motto is “do no harm to the Earth and its creatures”  and have created a line of functional beauty tools that are entirely vegan and a favorite of make-up artists.

For us, the  LUXIE Dreamcatcher Set  had everything we needed and upgraded our beauty routine. ($175. for the set.) The eye shadow brushes gave us complete control and the bristles were gentle on the skin. There are three (!) face brushes — the Foundation Face makeup brush, the large angled face brush and the large powder face brush — which we use on a regular basis. With so many precision tools, our makeup application is so much more professional!

The Dreamcatcher Collection comes in ‘periwinkle undertone’ or ‘ golden ferrule’ and you’ll want the matching glam cup holder.
