President Donald Trump is at it again, finding disparaging names for his political opponents. This time Rep. Adam Schiff is in the tweet firing line.
In a profane-laden tweet Sunday, Trump misspelling his name “Schitt.” Lester Holt on NBC news awkwardly explained that it wasn’t a word ‘they could use on the air’ but newspapers have re-printed Trump’s tweet verbatim.
Trump is pissed at Schiff because he claims that the appointment of acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker is unconstitutional.
“So funny to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talking about the fact that Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker was not approved by the Senate, but not mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is highly conflicted) was not approved by the Senate!” Trump tweeted.
The White House did not immediately return CNN’s request for comment Sunday evening on whether Trump purposely misspelled Schiff’s name.
