At the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, America’s President continued to deny climate change even going so far as to label climate activists ‘fortune tellers’ on Tuesday and mocking their warnings about the ‘apocalypse.’
‘This is not a time for pessimism. This is a time for optimism,’ Trump said, contrary to the message from Greta Thunberg, scientists, and most other world leaders.
Again, the President went after Greta Thunberg, calling her ‘very angry’ and saying climate activists were out-of-touch ‘alarmists’ and ‘heirs of yesterday’s fortune-tellers.’
Meanwhile, hero Greta Thunberg made a plea for immediate change in the fight against climate change, quoting statistics and imploring the world leaders:
‘One year ago, I said I wanted you to panic,’ she said. ‘I’ve been warned that telling people to panic about the climate crisis is a very dangerous thing to do.’
Fortunately, world leaders tuned out Trump ages ago.
