Hang on, you can’t book your ticket quite yet.

The brainchild of, Yemeni engineer Hashem Al-Ghaili, the Sky Cruise, a nuclear-powered plane/hotel which can stay in the air for years, is creating waves online but it’s not technologically possible. Yet. The engineer insists it’s only a “matter of time” before aviation engineering catches up to his vision.
In the video depicting the gigantic flying hotel, it shows the scale of the enormous Sky Cruise with room for approx. 5,000 guests, and recreational facilities like cinemas, swimming pools, spas, and even shopping malls.
According to Ghaili, Sky Cruise would run on clean nuclear fusion energy — technology that does not currently exist — which would allow “it to remain above the clouds for several years.”
(Supplies and guests would be brought to the hotel using electric commercial airliners and private jets, he adds.)
It looks like something out of the Jetsons, but look at where we are today…this may be closer to becoming reality than we think.
