We recently received a package from Attitude, makers of the Oceanly Plastic Free Makeup line. The package we received included the Cream Blush Stick (0.3oz, $30), the Cream Highlighter Stick (0.3oz, $30), and the Lip Gloss Stick (0.12oz, $20).
We love that the company uses biodegradable cardboard packaging, but the first thing we noticed is how difficult the products were to open, making them hard to use. To open the Cream Blush you have to push it from the bottom but if you push too hard it all comes out at once. With the Lip Gloss, you have to pull and twist at the same time making it easy to break.
The products didn’t have any scent, which is great if you have a sensitive nose.The highlighter is our favorite of the bunch. It left a pretty sparkle on our face and we felt like we were glowing. The Lip Gloss Stick is a great color but made our lips feel dry and not that glossy.
We love the company mission to make clean and sustainable products, just be careful opening them so they don’t break right away.
