As the pieces begin to fall, it’s looking more and more like Empire actor Jussie Smollett staged his own attack to garner publicity. While Chicago police are still not calling Empire actor Jussie Smollett a suspect, they have said they do not consider him a victim any longer.
After interviewing the two brothers Jussie indicated may have been his attackers, the police quickly released them, after they claimed to have been paid by the actor to stage the attack. But Smollett still maintains that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack last month.
All the evidence is now pointing towards Smollett engineering his own attack, complicated now by his appearance with Robin Roberts on ‘Good Morning America’ two weeks after the incident where he said what upset him most was that some people didn’t believe his account of the violent attack.
