Pro-Palestine student protests have sprung up at universities around the country. In some cases, students have camped out, creating mini tent cities. One of the protestor’s key demands is that the instructions divest from Israel.

Columbia University — where the first protests sprung up — has arrested some students and now has issued an ultimatum: leave by 2:00 this afternoon, Monday.

The school said it has “already identified many students in the encampment” and “if you do not identify yourself upon leaving and sign the form now, you will not be eligible to sign and complete the semester in good standing.” The school also threatened students with suspension or expulsion if they did not leave the encampment.
