‘Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?’ came a mysterious tweet from the Academy of Motion Pictures on Monday, using the band’s famous lyrics to announce that Adam Lambert and Queen would be performing on the Oscar show.
The Freddie Mercury bio-pic — ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ — is of course nominated for five Academy Awards including best picture.
As most fans know, the band have been performing under the name Queen + Adam Lambert which includes two of the four original members, Brian May on guitar and Roger Taylor on drums.
