Democrats pushed a bill that would allow more funding for health for veterans care but the Republicans killed it today.
‘I agree with Sen. Tester — this is total bullshit,’ Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., said during a news conference Thursday and then handed the mic to Jon Stewart.
‘If this is America First, then America is f***ed,’ the comedian said, calling Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell a ‘liar’ and Toomey a ‘coward’ for their no vote.
“I’m used to the hypocrisy…I’m used to the lies…I’m used to the cowardice…I’m used to all of it, but I am not used to the cruelty,” he added.
