48 hours ago, Hamas launched a surprise attack against Israel. Israel declared war.

According to authorities, more than 700 people have been killed in Israel and thousands of others wounded. Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, has also taken over 100 people hostage.

Hamas does not recognize Israel’s right to exist as a state and its stated goal is to drive all Jews from the region.

Today, Israel’s military announced it has retaken control of all communities around Gaza, and President Biden has promised additional US assistance.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Monday that he’d ordered a  Gaza blockade:

“Nothing is allowed in or out. There will be no fuel, electricity or food supplies,” he said in a statement. “We fight animals in human form and proceed accordingly.”
