The Hamas terrorist group has networks of complex tunnels running underneath Gaza. Some are used for surprise attacks, others for storage of weapons and now, sadly, it is suspected that hostages seized from Israel are hidden in these labyrinths.

How have we seen these secretive tunnels? Some have been featured in propaganda videos, though their location is kept masked and many have been discovered by Israeli soldiers.

 

Also, the recently released Israeli hostage, 85-year-old Yocheved Lifshitz, revealed:  “It looked like a spider’s web, many, many tunnels,” adding: “We walked kilometres under the ground.”
