In her first interview since Trump’s latest indictment, Nancy Pelosi said it was ‘Heartbreaking for the country’ to See Trump indicted for a coup attempt.
Trump on Thursday faces arraignment on four felony counts, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. Special counsel Jack Smith said on the record that the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was “fueled” by Trump’s ceaseless lies about election fraud.
She also went on to praise the work of the Jan 6th Committee:
“I’m so proud of them, their courage, their bravery, and the courage, really, of all of those who are making the case now,” Pelosi said.
