Speaker Nancy Pelosi just announced that she’s calling for a meeting with Congress for this Friday to discuss invoking the 25th amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office over fears that the medication — notably the steroids — he is taking for his COVID treatment are affecting his mental health.

‘Come here tomorrow,’ she told reporters on Capitol Hill Thursday. ‘We’re going to be talking about the 25th Amendment.’

The President’s erratic behavior, especially after leaving the hospital while still contagious with COVID, has alarmed even his own party.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to boast about his good health telling FOX last night:

‘I’m a perfect physical specimen and I’m extremely young. And so I’m lucky that way.’

The 25th Amendment allows for a president to be removed from office against his will because of incapacity, whether physical or mental.

While the Republican party would likely block such a move, it does allow for Congress to appoint a body to judge the President’s fitness.

It’s ironic given the fact that Trump has called Pelosi ‘crazy’ his entire time in office.
