Cosby, 83, has only served two years of a three to a 10-year sentence but today was released from jail after a court agreed with his lawyers that his rights were ‘violated.’

Though dozens of women had accused him of sexual assault remember he was only tried criminally for abuse against Andres Constand whom he drugged and raped.

In 2018 his conviction was seen as a watershed moment in the #MeToo movement.

But now, Pennsylvania’s highest court has found there was a “process violation” because apparently, Cosby had made an agreement with a previous state prosecutor that he would not be charged in the case.

“There is only one remedy that can completely restore Cosby to the status quo ante. He must be discharged, and any future prosecution on these particular charges must be barred”, the court decision reads.
