Over the weekend, a deadly Russian missile struck an apartment building in Ukraine, killing at last count 44 people, including five children.

Ukrainian President Zelensky said bringing those responsible for the attack to justice is “the fundamental task for Ukraine and its Western allies,” adding that the strike falls under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.

And today the United Nations Security Council is meeting  to discuss “threats to international peace and security.”

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry confirms it plans to increase the size of its army to 1.5 million, as the war shows no sign of winding down.

This comes as the U.S. began a new training program for Ukrainian soldiers in Germany earlier this week.
