The US recorded one of the deadliest coronavirus mortality rates last week but that didn’t stop Trump from campaigning for the election in November. Monday he released an ad touting his so-called accomplishments and presenting himself as the person to bring the country back to prosperity.
Trump has always tied his re-election to the economy so he’s pressing to open the country, regardless of the deaths it will cause as medical experts warn it’s too early.
In the ad, titled ‘The Greatest Comeback Story,’ features Trump at the Lincoln Memorial, takes a swipe at Nancy Pelosi, and unrelated images of the Comfort Ship in New York (though he had nothing to do with bringing it to the city) and other ‘stirring images.’
