In a rousing message to the American people, former President George W. Bush spoke of compassion and unity in this time of crisis, urging the nation to ‘remember how small our differences are’ and remind people that we’ve gone through this before, namely the September 11th attacks.

Bush also reminded people to remember some groups hard hit by the virus, such as ‘the elderly, the ill and the unemployed.’

He added that  ‘we are human beings’ and ‘not partisan combatants.’

Sadly, all the current President could tweet was about himself (as always) asking Bush where he was during Trump’s impeachment, saying Bush was ‘nowhere to be found.’ How he can even compare the two boggles the mind.
