So Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a surprise visit to the G-7 summit this weekend, to shore up support for the war against his country.

In his brief trip — never publicized for obvious reasons —  Zelenskyy arrived in Hiroshima, Japan to implore world leaders for more military aid.

For the first time, Biden promised to train Ukrainian pilots on US F-16 fighter jets, which means other countries can now send those warplanes to Ukraine. As part of the deal, Zelenskyy had to promise not to use the jets to strike targets in Russia.

Ukrainian defense officials have called the aircraft a ‘game changer.’

As well,  President Biden promised an additional $375 million in arms, including ammunition and armored vehicles.
