Winner of the least dressed celeb?
In a rehearsed skit with Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel, John Cena appeared apparently naked except for an Oscar envelope to ‘celebrate’ the 50th anniversary of an onstage streaker disrupting the 1974 awards ceremony. Remember that?
But Cena played at having second thoughts insisting that it’s an elegant event” and bristling at Kimmel’s reminder that he “wrestles naked” that “I don’t wrestle naked, I wrestle in jorts.” (Cena is known for wrestling in his now trademark denim shorts.)
But this being Hollywood, the star was sporting what’s called a ‘modesty pouch’ before the lights dimmed, and a team of costumers quickly outfitted him in a makeshift toga apparently made from curtains. (Shades of Gone With Wind.)
