In his new book, ‘Betrayal,’ ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl reveals that Trump not only defended his supporters who were changing ‘Hang Mike Pence,’  but wasn’t worried about his VP because he was in ‘good shape.’ Meaning he could escape the murderous crowd?

In an interview taped at Mar-a-Lago, Trump plays down the threat saying ‘the people were very angry.’

When Karl pushes Trump with ‘They were saying “hang Mike Pence,”‘  Trump breezily replies:

No, I thought he was well-protected, and I had heard that he was in good shape.’

Later, Trump addressed how angry the crowd was, trying to explain it this way:

‘Because it’s common sense, Jon. It’s common sense that you’re supposed to protect,’ Trump replies. ‘How can you — if you know a vote is fraudulent, right?’ he says, once again peddling the falsehood that he won the election.

As everyone remembers, a  gallows had been erected outside and Secret Service had to evacuate Pence through underground tunnels before hiding him in what was deemed a safe location.

What would have happened if the murderous mob had have found Pence?
