A Korean study finds that people infected with the Indian ‘Delta’ variant are carrying viral loads 300 times higher than those with the original strain of COVID-19

(Quick reminder:  ‘Viral loads’ are highest when a person first experiences symptoms of the virus. And the more viral load there is, the more likely a person is to transmit the virus to another person. )

So that makes the Delta variant TWICE as contagious as the original discovered COVID strain.

Experts guesstimate that 99% of new cases are all due to the Delta variant.

With only 60% of Americans vaccinated, it’s time to issue more vaccine mandates.
