Last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill that restricts the use of abortion-inducing pills.
FACT: In the US, 60% of women choose the medication as an alternative to the surgical procedure.
So Texas, in their latest effort to control women and their ‘fundamental freedoms’ will not let doctors prescribe the pills to women who are more than seven weeks pregnant. The law stipulates penalties of up to two years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
