Oscar nominee Daniel Kaluuya — you saw him in Black Panther, Get Out, and Judas and the Black Messiah —
hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time and killed it with his monologue. In it, he compared British and American racism:
“First of all, I know you’re hearing my accent and thinking, ‘Oh no, he’s not Black, he’s British!'” After noting that he is both, he quips, “Basically, I’m what the royal family was worried the baby would look like.”
Ouch!
