Imagine staying at — technically, in — one of the world’s most famous cabarets, you know, the one with the red windmill that was featured in the Baz Luhrmann movie “Moulin Rouge!”
Inside said windmill is a secret room, decorated like a boudoir on steroids, which Airbnb is now renting out, but only to a select few.
Located in the Montmartre district in Paris, the venue is bookable for just three nights — June 13, 20 and 27 on Airbnb.
Airbnb says the secret room inside the windmill “brings to life the art and romance of the Belle Époque era for an experience through time.”
Lucky visitors will also have use of the newly renovated terraced area by the windmill with it’s fairy lights and a romantic pagoda.
After paying a symbolic $1 for a night in the windmill, guests will also go downstairs to enjoy the Moulin Rouge’s signature cabaret show and a three-course French meal.
But it’s not all luxury — guests have to walk downstairs to a shared toilet. Not very 18th Century, pas vraiment?
