Ahead of the Labor Day Weekend, the CDC urged 80 million unvaccinated Americans to stay home for the Labor Day weekend as new COVID-19 cases spike to 160,000 per day.

‘First and foremost, if you are unvaccinated, we would recommend not traveling,’ CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said at a White House COVID-19 Response Team Briefing on Tuesday.

The CDC is talking to the approx. 80 million eligible Americans who have chosen not to get vaccinated.

Naturally, Twitter erupted with anti-vax rhetoric. One person — who will certainly has an upcoming hospital visit — wrote: “‘The CDC can kiss my ass! I’ll travel where & when I want!’
