The GOP party’s solution to gun violence is to ‘harden’ schools. Ted Cruz went so far as to recommend schools have only one single entry, manned by armed guards.
Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary put the conservatives on blast, calling it the ‘definition of insanity.’
‘And the idea that us being the only developed country where this happens routinely, especially in terms of the mass shootings, is somehow a result of the design of the doorways on our school buildings, is the definition of insanity if not the definition of denial,’ he told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s ‘The Week.’
