BREAKING NEWS:

Wearing eyeglasses daily may reduce the risk of contracting COVID a new study found. In fact, people who wear specs are about five times less likely to be diagnosed with COVID than the ‘general population.’

This makes sense because recent studies have shown that the microscopic Coronavirus particles can enter through the eyes, either via droplets or absent-mindedly touching our eyes.

So if you don’t already wear prescription glasses or sunglasses when you’re out, put on some goggles or some sort of protection for your eyes.

A woman wearing a face mask and goggles walks through LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday.
