UPDATED:
An armed woman killed SIX in a Nashville school shooting. The 28-year-old woman was armed with two assault-style rifles and a handgun and was shot by responding police officers.
Three children and three adults were killed in a shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville on Monday morning.
Not much is known at this point except that police have responded to “an active shooter event” at the Covenant School, which serves students from preschool through 6th grade; three children and two adults were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital; and the shooter is dead.
“The shooter was engaged by M.N.P.D. and is dead,” the Police Department said on Twitter.
