‘Thy doth protest too much, methinks.’ (Yes, a Hamlet reference.)

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tells CNN she wasn’t too perturbed about the Republican heckling of President Biden during the State of the Union address Tuesday night.

Specifically, the GOP broke decorum to boo Biden when he referenced how their party wants to do away with Medicare and Social Security.

“Me thinks they protests too much,’ Pelosi says. (Note: The GOP has already signaled they want to sunset Medicare and Social Security.)

When asked was she upset by the heckling, the spunky politician replied :

“No, actually, they were–for them–pretty well behaved, considering what we see every day of the week…”
