World Central Kitchen (WCK) is already on the ground in Turkey following a devastating earthquake bringing with them over a thousand sandwiches and water for the displaced citizens.
Chef and organizer Chef José Andrés made a plea for money to help feed the thousands in Turkey and Syria as they quickly scale up operations.
As the Chef writes:
“When you talk about food and water, people don’t want a solution one week from now, one month from now. The solution has to be now.”
