The Detroit Press just broke a very damming phone call of then-President Trump personally pressuring two Michigan election workers, telling them they would look ‘terrible’ if they certified the vote for Joe Biden, who legally won the 2020 election.
Trump told the election workers — Monica Palmer and William Hartmann –that they have ‘to fight for our country,’ adding that Trump said Republicans had been ‘cheated on this election’ and ‘everybody knows Detroit is crooked as hell.’
Also on the call was Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the RNC who advised them,
‘If you can go home tonight, do not sign it. We will get you attorneys.’ (Doesn’t that signal they were asking them to do something illegal?)
This is yet more evidence that Trump tried to overturn the election.
