Yesterday we told you about a viral video of Hugh Jackman thanking all the understudies who filled spots in his Broadway musical ‘The Music Man.’
Now he’s going viral for a different reason…he has COVID.
“I just wanted to make sure you heard this from me. I tested positive for covid,” the caption to the video read. “Mild symptoms and looking forward to getting back on stage ASAP!”“My symptoms are like a cold,” Jackman said during the video. “I have a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose, but I’m fine.“
Many Broadway shows have been forced to close due to the pandemic, including ‘Ain’t Too Proud,’ ‘Jagged Little Pill,’ ‘Moulin Rouge,’ ‘Hadestown,’ and many more.
