It’s been almost 30 years (!) since the sitcom ‘Frasier’ ruled TV.
Now there’s a reboot. Naturally.
Judging from the trailer, it’s the same Frasier, just now in a new city. Fittingly, he’s back in Boston which is where we first met the pompous psychiatrist on the beloved show ‘Cheers’.
Kelsey Grammer, who plays the titular character, is back in Boston to reconnect with his adult son, Freddy.
Sadly, you won’t see ‘Niles’ (David Hyde Pierce) who chose not to participate in the re-boot.
(John Mahoney, who played their Dad, Martin, died in 2018.)
But comedy legend Nicholas Lyndhurst will play one of Frasier’s friends on the show, making it a must-watch for us.
‘Frasier’ premieres on Thursday, Oct. 12, only on Paramount+.
