Republican Dr. Oz, in a debate with Democrat John Fetterman for the Pennsylvania  Senate seat,  said Tuesday that discussions about abortion access should be left to women, doctors and “local political leaders.”

His opponent Fetterman reiterated his stance on abortion rights — that the procedure was a “universal right for all women in America,” and doubled down at Tuesday’s debate:

“I believe abortion is health care, and I believe that is a choice that belongs with each woman and her doctor.”
