Thrive Causemetic’s CEO Karissa Bodnar had a dream, to create a world-class cosmetics company but one that gave back. Inspired by her friend who died of a rare form of cancer, Karissa created a vegan, “clean” cosmetics brand that can be used by all women, including those with compromised immune systems. For every product purchased, Thrive donates to causes that help women thrive. All products are named after ‘ordinary women doing extraordinary things’.

This week, we got to talk to the impressive CEO at the Bigger Than Beauty Virtual Event to see/hear firsthand what news and launches will be coming from the brand in 2022, and talk about their impressive give-back efforts.

Karissa Bodnar

Already a cult-favorite for their Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara which Thrive has trouble keeping in stock, they’ve just launched four gorgeous “Infinity Waterproof Eyeshadow Sticks”($26) which we tested — and they really stayed on, even after a swim in the pool. 9Our personal fave from the line is the ‘Brilliant Eye Brightener.’)

To give you an idea of the power of their charitable efforts, they just donated $100,000 donation to the University of Louisville Breonna Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund in Nursing.

It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to know that every time you purchase something from Thrive Causemetics you’re helping someone doesn’t it?
