On CNN Tuesday night, fired FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe once again reiterated his bombshell claim that he believes ‘it’s possible’ that President Trump is a secret Russian agent.
When Anderson Cooper posed the question to McCabe on CNN, asking: ‘Do you still believe the President could be a Russian asset?’ McCabe replied ‘I think it’s possible. I think that’s why we started our investigation, and I’m really anxious to see where (special counsel Robert) Mueller concludes that.’
McCabe also said that federal law enforcement thought it was ‘possible Donald Trump was working on behalf of Russia’ when the Bureau opened its counterintelligence investigation into him in 2016.
