There is a lot to like about the Thena Radiance Antioxidant Botanical Facial Oil ($58 for 1 oz.) such as how light it feels on our skin to the subtle glow it leaves, but our favorite thing is hands down the lovely smell, which can best be described as soft and somewhat citrusy. Crafted with a mix of coconut oil, jojoba oil, bergamot oil, aloe vera, and cold-pressed rosehip seed oil, Thena prides itself on natural products that are free from parabens SLS and SLES sulfates, phthalates, mineral oils, and artificial colors or fragrances.
This botanical anti-aging face oil hydrates and gives a natural glow to skin that’s dull or has an or uneven tone. Botanicals help ward off lines and wrinkles while antioxidants help repair the all-important skin barrier.
One note – there were zero directions included and while the website does have a “how to use” section, we found it a little limited. They do clarify the amount of oil you use should vary depending on your personal preference and your unique skin, however, some additional basic guidance would have been appreciated. For example, is it good for both day and night use, or best to just apply in the morning?
While a little more info would have been appreciated, we went with a twice-a-day application following our cleansing ritual and have been loving the results.
