Some people love it; others hate it.
Nike unveiled its newest ad campaign ahead of the Paris Olympics, and it’s already controversial. Starring top athletes such as Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kylian Mbappé, Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson and Sophia Smith, the spot is all over TV and social media.
While the tagline “Winning Isn’t For Everyone” summarised the competitive must-win attitude, some viewed it as an excuse for athletes to be selfish, single-minded people.
Or is it just a desperate marketing ploy from a company that is losing money for the first time in decades?
Am I a bad person? Tell me, am I?
I’m single-minded. I’m deceptive.
I’m obsessive.
I’m selfish.
Does that make me a bad person? Am I a bad person? am I?
