Pink really, really loves her fans. During her Brisbane show, the singer — and Mom — stopped her concert to go down in the crowd and hug a 14-year-old girl who had just lost her mother.
The fan’s sign read:
“My name is Leah – I’m 14 years old. I lost my beautiful Mom last month. I would LOVE a hug…Please!”
After reading the sign aloud to the rest of the audience, Pink immediately came down from the stage to hug Leah, and take some selfies with her.
“I was crying a lot and Pink said, ‘Oh don’t cry, you look so pretty. Everything’s going to be okay.’ She was really nice. She’s really sweet,” Leah said about her meeting with Pink.
Sadly, only months before Tuesday’s concert, Leah’s mother Debbie, who died in June, had gotten tickets to attend Pink’s Sydney show, but that was canceled when Pink had was hospitalized. Leah’s Aunt took her to the rescheduled show after Debbie passed.
