If you got the Pfizer vaccine, you may need a so-called booster shot this Fall. Pfizer has applied for emergency authorization for its booster to fight off the new, deadly Delta variant and plans on presenting recent trials to the FDA in as soon as two weeks.
Real-life studies showed the efficacy of vaccines decreases after 6 months. Moderna has hinted they are also working on a third-dose vaccine as well.
