Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro suffered a terrible injury to his right hand when it got caught in his home bowling alley machine which cut some of his tendons and caused nerve damage as well.
To say thanks to the Orthopedic surgeon and the rest of the staff he and his team at Carlo’s Bakery baked up a HUGE cake that stood several feet high with details such as scrubs and even tiny pills.
On Instagram he posted:
‘Check out the super special cake I made for Dr. Michelle Carlson, the nurses and staff at @hspecialsurgery as a token of my immense appreciation.’
The baker has had three surgeries on his right hand and faces two or three more procedures depending on his progress in physical therapy.
