In a take-off of the holiday staple, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’, Saturday Night Live opened with their version of the iconic movie, where Trump never became President. The best part? Hillary Clinton is President.

Titled, ‘It’s a Wonderful Trump,’ Alec Baldwin as Trump suddenly discovers that in this new reality everyone fares much better without him as the leader of the free world.  Host Matt Damon reprised his role of Brett Kavanaugh with Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro playing Michael Cohen and Robert Mueller.

In this new reality, Melania had divorced Donald and was happily remarried to Papa John while Kate McKinnon as Kellyanne Conway says: After we lost the campaign, the devil did give me my soul back’

In the cold open, Cecily Strong reprised her impression of Melania, who suddenly doesn’t have an accent because her language skills improved after she divorced Trump. 

‘A Wonderful Trump’ ends as Trump says: ‘Wow, this night has put everything into perspective. I have had an epiphany. I guess the world does need me to be president after all.’
