In a huge virtual event, Former President Obama spoke to the class of 2020 — but he really was talking to all of us.

“If the world’s gonna get better, it’s gonna be up to you,” Obama said during the television special “Graduate Together” on Saturday. “Leave behind all the old ways of thinking that divide us — sexism, racial prejudice, status, greed. And set the world on a different path.”

In his uplifting speech, Obama never mentioned Trump by name but it was clear who he was talking about:

In a key moment, he tells the graduates that adults “don’t have all the answers. A lot of them aren’t even asking the right questions,” and that “things are so screwed up” because “a lot of so-called grownups — including some with fancy titles and important jobs” do “what’s convenient, what’s easy” rather than what is right.

Classy, as always.
