Beyonce has been teasing that ‘she’s been creating something special’ since she hinted on her Instagram feed in May. Now we know it’s an upscale hairline, designed for all hair types.

“Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20,” Beyoncé wrote in a Feb. 6 IG post which showed clips of her mother Tina Knowles’ former Houston salon before revealing the brand’s name, Cécred, which is a clever play on the word sacred.

Few remember that the superstar grew up helping out at her Mom’s salon, so her love of hair products goes waaaay back.

The lineup includes everything from shampoos to a hair treatment mask, with prices ranging from $30 to $52, packed in striking sculptural packaging.

In a press release for its debut, the Cécred team describes the collection as “the difference between a routine and a ritual,” adding that it gives you “the foundation to express your hair in all ways that make you feel good.”

Beyonce continued:

“I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.”

Naturally, the line is cruelty-free and scented with the brand’s signature Temple Oud fragrance.
