Former Vice President Mike Pence has been subpoenaed by the special counsel investigating Trump — to try and determine the ex-President’s role in the January 6 insurrection.
What do they want to know? They want Pence to testify about his communications with Trump leading up to the Capitol riot.
Even though the ex-VP was put in danger by Trump after the former President tweeted ”Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution,’ forcing Pence’s security to hide him away as the mob chanted ‘Hang Mike Pence!’ the former VP is expected to claim executive privilege to get out of testifying against his old boss.
