After a brief — six months —  tenure as President of Harvard,  Claudine Gay announced her resignation Tuesday.

As you’ll remember, she refused to condemn antisemitism on campus and again when she was questioned at a congressional hearing.

She was also hit with multiple plagiarism charges.

Gay’s resignation was welcomed by some Jewish groups on Tuesday:

‘Harvard University has a long way to go to make Jewish students feel safe.

‘President Gay’s failures are symptomatic of deeper problems including anti-Semitism in many of America’s elite universities.
