After a brief — six months — tenure as President of Harvard, Claudine Gay announced her resignation Tuesday.
As you’ll remember, she refused to condemn antisemitism on campus and again when she was questioned at a congressional hearing.
She was also hit with multiple plagiarism charges.
Gay’s resignation was welcomed by some Jewish groups on Tuesday:
‘Harvard University has a long way to go to make Jewish students feel safe.
‘President Gay’s failures are symptomatic of deeper problems including anti-Semitism in many of America’s elite universities.
